C2FO’s “Open-Market Network Model” recognized for technology innovation

KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 16, 2015 — C2FO, the world’s market for working capital®, has been recognized by Global Finance Magazine on its 2015 list of innovators. This is the publication’s third annual listing of the most cutting-edge global firms in treasury and transaction processing. C2FO was listed within the “Technology Providers” category for its “open-market network model for supplier finance.”

“The C2FO marketplace is enabling working capital collaboration between a global network of buyers and their suppliers,” said Kevin Daniels, Chief Product Officer at C2FO. “We are thrilled to receive this award, as we continue to provide companies with a dynamic discounting platform that is simple to implement, easy to use and equally beneficial to buyers and suppliers.”

C2FO is the first working capital market in the world. The market seamlessly matches organizations’ A/R and A/P to enable the risk-free provisioning of working capital between suppliers and buyers. Suppliers using C2FO take control of their cash flow, while buyers increase EBITDA and gross margins, earn a better return on their short-term cash and ultimately improve the financial health of their supply chains.

The C2FO market is used by major organizations around the world and has delivered more than $15 billion in working capital and over 100 million days of accelerated payments to companies across the globe.

All selections for this year’s list were made by the editorial board of Global Finance Magazine, who considered nominations and submissions, key research and the input of experts to evaluate those companies that stand out for their transformative products and solutions. The OECD’s Oslo Manual of Innovation was also used as a guide when considering firms for inclusion. The Oslo Manual defines four types of innovation including: product innovation; process innovation; marketing innovation and organizational innovation.

“As cutting-edge banks and technology providers transform their transactions services operations, companies are starting to see the benefits,” said Joseph D. Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance. “With The Innovators, we evaluate both entrenched behemoths and agile upstarts that are disrupting the transaction services market. These firms are not just advancing rapidly; they are changing rules of the game.”
