Two New Additions Strengthen C2FO’s Commitment to the Nordic Region in Europe

Kansas City, USA (May 28, 2020) — C2FO, the world’s largest market for working capital, announced today the addition of two new partners who will bring considerable business experience in Europe’s Nordic region as the company expands its services in that part of the continent.
Carsten Jorgensen has joined C2FO as a member of its Board of Advisors, while Matti Copeland has joined C2FO as a Strategic Business Partner.
Both bring extensive financial and leadership experience, and will work to strengthen C2FO’s presence and engagement with its growing client base in the Nordics.

Jorgensen brings more than 30 years of executive, operational and supervisory experience, having served in CEO and CIO roles in the asset management industry. Following an early career within global markets in banking, he has held executive roles at IKEA, IKANO and the Mittal Family investment office. His experience includes capital structure optimization, treasury and working capital solutions, asset allocation, as well as M&A.
Based in Luxembourg, Jorgensen is the most recent addition to C2FO’s 15-member Board of Advisors. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Hand in Hand International, as a non-executive director for Azura Ltd. and Van Gansewinkel, and as a special advisor to UNICEF.

Copeland has over three decades of experience as an investment banker, M&A deal-maker and a trusted advisor in European markets. Based in Finland, he recently left his role as executive director of business development at Ernst & Young after five years with the company. Previously, Copeland has worked for Citibank, Nordea, CapMan Capital Management, Deloitte and Basware.
Copeland, who often refers to himself as a “Chief Curiosity Officer,” currently works on selected startup boards, advising company founders on growth strategies. As a Strategic Business Partner for C2FO, he will play an instrumental role in extending and developing the current network in the Nordic region and beyond.
